 position: Sr Java Developer position with Calypso experience

Duration: 6 months

Location: downtown Chicago

*Local Candidates preferred/ in-person interview required*

Duration: 6months

Summary of Details:

Experienced java developer who has hands-on experience working with Calypso to do front to back office processing of interest rate derivatives. Develop scalable, reliable and high-performing java code to Calypso's API set. Interact with QA team on functional design, test plans, defect and change control.

Qualifications:
Experience in the technical implementation of Calypso. 1+ years of experience.
Linux - practical experience building/running systems on Linux platform including basic shell/perl scripting
Java coding skills - core java (j2se), Collections, multithreading and Socket IO . 5+ years of exerpience.
Familiar with patterns
Proficient in writing/maintaining ant, maven scripts
Experience with Informatica or other ETL solutions a major plus
Proficiency in Oracle or similar RDMS systems
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently

Required Skills:

Linux                yes       1          expert               9-10 currently  using  1-2 yrs

 

Oracle              yes       2          Intermeidate     7-10 currently  using   2-4 yrs

 

Java                 yes       1          expert               9-10  currently  using   4-6 yrs

 

SQL                 yes       1          Intermeidate     5-6       currently using 4-6 yrs

 

Senior programmer yes  1     Expert   9-10  within 1 yr   4-6 yrs

 

Calypso. 1+ years of experience
